A Lifelong Passion for Fishing

Jason's love affair with fishing began amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Every free moment, whether after school, weekends, or even special occasions like prom night, was dedicated to fishing. This childhood passion only intensified over the years. After proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps for seven years, Jason ventured to Alaska, living his dream of fishing and hunting professionally. Yet, the allure of home was irresistible, and he returned to Oregon, enriched with experience and an undying love for the water.

At Hammerhead Guide Service, fishing is more than a profession—it's a cherished family tradition. Jason's two wonderful children, who share his love for the outdoors (with a slight tilt towards the mall for one), are a testament to this. When discussing Hammerhead, it's always "we", emphasizing the collective family effort behind the service. After a decade in the outdoor industry with giants like Leupold and Benchmade, Jason felt the waters calling him back.
